Do you work with the public? - Absolutely, yes. In confidence

Do you work with businesses? - Yes. I provide you with training in-house, and one to one coaching in confidence.

Are you insured? - Yes, I have appropriate and full professional indemnity insurance.

Are the techniques 'safe'? - Yes, safer than life itself! No-one can make you take on board suggestions that do not fit with your own personal values and desires.

What If I am taking medication? - Sometimes antidepressants can slow our progress; other times not; call me to discuss.

Do you need to speak to my Doctor? - No, not necessarily. If you are currently under the care of another medical professional, or where we are dealing with clinical matters, then it is appropriate and in your interests that we seek a referral.

Is it confidential?  - Yes; however, the law makes certain requirements which apply to all of us - these concern issues arising where the law has or may be broken by a patient. I undertake to warn you of this requirement, before you reveal any such facts.

Do you work with children? - Yes. You might want to consider that for children less than age of about 16 years, then most problems are a call for some form of attention - or to be 'listened to'. This even includes quite 'serious' problems. It follows that you as parents have a role to play in the problem and in the outcome. Sometimes a chat with Mum or Dad can produce a  far simpler solution. In all cases, ask, does the child see this as a problem from his/her point of view? The lower age limit also depends on the child's capability to understand and follow instructions. Formal hypnosis is hardly ever needed with young children.
